The Critical Journal of Social Sciences (ISSN: 3101-0415) is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal that provides open access to original research across the social sciences. It serves as a platform for critical reflection and scholarly debate, publishing high-quality articles from a broad range of disciplines, including Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Economics, Human Geography, History, Psychology, International Relations, Law and Society, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Cultural Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Education Studies, Social Work, Urban Studies, Environmental Social Sciences, Public Policy, Demography, Criminology, and Literature.

While the journal focuses on these areas, it remains open to other relevant topics within the broader field of social sciences.

The journal welcomes contributions that generate critical knowledge and aims to foster an inclusive academic dialogue, encouraging innovative and rigorous research that challenges existing paradigms and contributes to the advancement of social science scholarship on a global scale.

The journal particularly welcomes contributions addressing social, political, and cultural processes in the Global South, while remaining open to research from all geographical contexts.

The Critical Journal of Social Sciences welcomes original articles, book reviews, and working papers.

Reception of manuscripts is open throughout the year. The journal follows a quadrimestral publication schedule, with issues released in February, June, and October.

The journal does not charge any article processing charges (APCs) for regular issues. However, it reserves the right to apply publication fees for special issues or specific calls for papers, when applicable. Any such fees will be clearly communicated in advance and will not influence editorial decisions.
