Critical Perspectives from the Social Sciences

We invite submissions for an interdisciplinary Special Issue dedicated to critical analysis in the Social Sciences, to be published in April 2026.

This Special Issue aims to bring together contributions that engage critically with social realities, power structures, and forms of knowledge production, addressing both global dynamics and local contexts. We welcome theoretical, empirical, and methodological approaches that advance critical perspectives across the Social Sciences.

Key themes include (but are not limited to):

  • Critical Approaches to Power and Inequality

  • Transformative Social Analysis

  • Epistemology and Knowledge Production

  • Global Dynamics and Local Realities

Types of contributions:

  • Original research articles

  • Review articles

  • Working papers presenting research projects in progress

All submissions will undergo the journal’s standard double-blind peer-review process.

Important dates:

  • Submission deadline: 1 March 2026

  • Publication date: April 2026

Article Processing Charge (APC):

  • 100 €, charged only after acceptance

  • Regular issues of the journal remain free of charge
